November 2007 - VLX2 White "WP4U" Option Launched

This VLX2 unit is now "Probably the Brightest White Line Light in the World"

Fitted with this white LED option, the VLX2 now produces nearly 20,000 lumens/metre along its length at full power. This equates to around 4MLux of intensity when focussed on to a 5mm wide line - even more if focussed to 3mm which is possible with the standard 40mm working distance optic.

This is even brighter than HID powered fibre optic units with fibre lines over around 250mm long.

This now makes it the unit of choice for any high speed or wide linescan inspection systems.

6th November 2007 - NEW VLX1 Air Cooled Linelight Range Launched

V Cubed are pleased to announce the launch the new VLX1 range of Air Cooled line lights at the Vision 2007 show in Stuttgart. These line lights are lower power output than the VLX2 water cooled range but feature exactly the same smart features. Optional "Forced Air" cooling complements conventional convection cooled to allow the unit to be run at higher power. The units are available in lengths from 100mm to over 2 metres. Stemmer Imaging Group Appointed as preferred Central European Distributor

V Cubed has appointed Stemmer Imaging as their preferred distributor in Germany, UK, Ireland, France, Switzerland and Austria. The full range of V Cubed’s products will be available including the “hybrid” design service for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) applications.

9 November 2006 - Vision 2006 - High Power LED Paper

1-July-2006 - RoHS Complaince

The RoHS Directive stands for "the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment". This Directive bans the placing on the EU market of new electrical and electronic equipment containing more than agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.

All VCubed products now compliant RoHS Complaint.

V Cubed were proud to give a series of seminars entitled "High Power LED Lighting for Machine Vision - a technical overview" at the show as part of the UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA) conference program.
