Fully Integrated Design

Incorporating the VCubed Smart Design Concept (SDC), the VLX1 Series eliminates external controllers and integrates efficient cooling, current control and communications in a compact form factor to deliver controlled light output, excellent reliability and control.

With core capabilities of integrated current control; strobe timing control; comprehensive communications and control management; LED failure detection and thermal management; SDC enables the development of LED lighting solutions hitherto impossible with contemporary systems.

Substantial Benefits

The VLX1 Series brings substantial benefits to a wide range of manufacturing processes, including web inspection, glass and metal sheet, road surfaces and PCBs. Lighting profile control and ultra high light output enables much higher camera line rates and better source imagery. The forced air cooling option allows higher power outputs to be achieved. Additionally, the unique air flow design allows total management of the cooling air - cooling air can be ported in from outside the installed area and also taken away top avoid any affect on the local environment.

Lighting Profile Control

With integrated current drive electronics, the VLX2 is able to programmatically control lighting segments along its length to create illumination profiles for background correction and optimisation.

Communications

Powerful on-board intelligence includes detailed diagnostic feedback, detection of LED device failure and advanced strobe timing control, with remote control of all operations and settings available via Ethernet, Serial or USB interfaces.
